Helical Staircase with Stainless Steel and Curved Glass
Metalwork Solutions UK were commissioned to undertake the design and installation of a feature helical staircase at the new £8.5 million police station in Barrow, Cumbria.
The staircase is a show-stopping piece of architecture using stainless steel and curved glass. It gives a modern feel to this new state of the art building and is very much a talking point. The helical staircase connects the three floors of the new police premises, which opened in Autumn 2015.
Completed on time, within budget and without accident or incident.
