CNC Profiling

CNC Plasma profile cutting services are now available at Metalwork Solutions UK Ltd.  A high definition Ajan CNC plasma/oxy-propane plate and tube cutter was installed at the premises in summer 2015.  This computer operated machine offers plasma cutting, flame cutting and true hole high definition plasma cutting options.  Working from AutoCAD files, clients can be sure of precision profiling and cutting on a variety of metals including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.

• Flame cutting capability: 4m x 2m x 200ml
• Plasma: 4m x 2m x 50ml

Processing capabilities

• Sheet size – 4000 x 2000mm
• Mild Steel from 0.5 to 200mm thick
• Stainless Steel from 0.8 to 100mm thick
• Aluminum from 1.2 to 50mm thick

The plasma plate cutter can cut bevels with angle ranges from 0 to 60 degrees and in several variants Y,V,X and bevel square bevel. This is especially useful for weld preparation. Positive and negative angles are both possible in one part.

Pipe Cutting / Pipe Profiling

Pipe profiling is available for circular hollow section and box section requirements of construction projects.  The advanced design program used in tube cutting can save clients hours of additional processing, resulting in a reduction of manufacturing cost and lead time. The machine is capable of using DXF and NC tool paths.
